Before finding my way to the book industry, I was a longform journalist, reporting award-winning stories from around the world. I wrote from an Indian desert, a Lousiana coal town, and a peque-peque in a thunderstorm on the Amazon River. I was honored to have people from all walks of life trust me with their most difficult and beautiful stories.
I hold a master's in creative nonfiction writing and have helped more than 100 writers speak to their target audience with purpose. I've also worked as a book coach, ghostwriter, and structural editor for Scribe Media.
I was born in Ukraine, with Strontium-90 from the Chernobyl nuclear meltdown in my bones, and am drawn to stories about underdogs who band together, beat the odds, and build more optimistic futures.
